an invitation to join a series of training sessions through the winter

* group 1 - existing 2^nd Cat and 3^rd Cat and 4^th Cat riders to join Power Pack, to work on improving their skills

and

* group 2 – beginners, all new to the sport of road racing, probably planning to enter events in 2008, to join a Starter Pack

Sunday December 16: Ockley 11.30am-11.45am for 12.00 noon start for….

                                    …a hill climbing special

using the traffic-free Broomhall Road up to Coldharbour

* climb on your own, as a hill climb/time trial (9-10min climb)

* climbing using 1-min intervals, 30-sec recoveries, bottom to

top

* climbing in small groups, half the riders treating the 3 steep

sections as a priority, the other half treating the 3 flatter

sections as priority

then move (steady) to Weare Street, split into groups of 4

* go fairly frisky for first 1km (undulating),

* then full-on for final 400m (rise)

£9 – starts from Ockley village hall (hall doors open 11.30am)
